This is a private one day course providing maximum flexibility to deliver tailored and un-hurried hands-on training
This course meets the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements
Overview
Regulations for the Childcare Register require childminders or home child carers to have 'an appropriate' first aid qualification.
The first aid requirements for Nannies and Au Pairs etc. depends on whether Childcare Register registration is required. In most cases people working with children including Nannies, Au Pairs, Childminders, Nursery Workers and Childcare Workers will need to register, so the 2-day paediatrics first aid course is more likely to meet the necessary requirements.
If the Nanny/Au Pair/Carer/childcare employer determines that the paediatric first aid course is too in-depth, this fun, relaxed and informative practical course will provide invaluable knowledge on how to deliver potentially life-saving help.
Who should attend this course?
This one day course is for Nannies, Au Pairs, parents, grandparents etc. who don't need to join the Childcare Register but would like more knowledge and confidence to deliver effective first aid to children in their care.
