Overview
The Health and Safety Executive strongly recommends that first aiders attend a refresher session once every year during this three year period.
This course will refresh your first aid skills, focussing on the key life support areas.
It recaps important knowledge areas such as how to assess situations with primary and secondary surveys, practice with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the recovery position and how to react to a variety of emergencies such as choking or anaphylaxis.
Who should attend this course?
This course is for anyone holding a current First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.
If your certificate has lapsed, choose our First Aid at Work course or our Emergency First Aid at Work course.

This course is delivered at your premises to be both cost effective and convenient for your delegates.
The course date(s) depend upon your availability.
Training rooms should have a 240v power socket and a table for our projector equipment; chairs for all attendees and a clear and clean floor area for CPR and recovery position training of approximately 2 square metres per delegate.
