This course meets the mandatory part of the English PSHE curriculum
Overview
First aid training empowers children with life-saving skills, a sense of responsibility and makes pupils more risk-aware. It also gives parents a little peace of mind.
From September 2020, first aid training has been a mandatory part of the English PSHE curriculum. This course fulfils the mandatory first aid element of PHSE curriculum.
But it's not just about meeting government targets, its about teaching valuable first aid skills and the best way to teach first aid is hands-on. Children love the practical nature of this subject.
Our trainers are DBS checked and approved and details can be provided if needed.
We can accommodate up to 16 children in each class, and certificates and a valuable piece of first aid equipment will be given as a take-away.
We can link the training to some other part of the curriculum for example in preparation for a school trip to make the training more relevant.
